Note: If you learn about
biomolecular structures the first time you should read all of the text
until you have a good knowledge of the properties of biomolecules. This
is a lot of text to read so prepare for the next class. Ultimately you
should understand the properties and symbols of amino acids,
and be able to describe the peptide bond and secondary structure of
proteins.
